Your wpSites account gives you a working site, a start page, and a managed WordPress setup so you can begin without dealing with hosting, updates, security, or performance.
When your account is ready, your site lives at its wpSites address. Set your password, log in, and open the start page we created for you.
The start page includes Row Layout blocks. Row Layout blocks are used to create page sections, and we’ve added notes to help you start there.
Since wpSites takes care of hosting, updates, security, and performance, you can get started right away with adding content.
Build your page in sections
Your start page already includes Row Layout blocks, so you can see how they’re used to build a page.
Don’t worry about colours, fonts, or design details yet. Start by editing what’s already there.
A Row Layout creates a page section and controls its columns and spacing. The content blocks inside it hold the text, images, buttons, or forms.
Edit one of the existing sections first. To add another section, add another Row Layout block first, then place the new content inside it.
Start with the message
Once you’ve seen how the start page is built, begin replacing the starter notes with your own message.
Don’t worry about making it perfect yet. Start with what the page needs to say first: what the site is about, who it’s for, why it matters, and what someone should do next.
That message gives the page direction. It helps you decide what headings, sections, and buttons belong before spending time on design details or extra pages.
Keep it simple. Get your main idea onto the page first. You can improve the wording as the site takes shape.
Connect HubSpot
Once your messaging is in place, people need a way to respond.
HubSpot adds forms, visitor tracking, and CRM.
If you already have HubSpot, connect your account from inside the plugin. If you don’t, you can sign up from the plugin, which connects it. HubSpot accounts are managed at HubSpot.
Use forms for email inquiries instead of posting your email address where spammers can find it. Add a phone number if calls matter.
When you want your own domain
Your site starts on a wpSites address.
Keep working in the Free account while you build. When you want your website to appear on your own domain, upgrade for support-assisted domain setup.
A custom domain changes the site from the wpSites address to your own web address.
If you have questions about upgrading, domain setup, or webmaster support, reply to your onboarding email.
